Last updated: 25 May 2026
This privacy policy describes how the yom mobile application ("the App") handles your personal information.
Who runs this app
yom is operated by Anatop1 (the developer). Contact: gsan.sdran@gmail.com.
What data we collect
We collect the minimum data needed for the app to work.
You provide directly:
- Your name (from sign-in or the onboarding step)
- Your email address (from Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple)
- Names of your clients (free-form text you type)
- Work-day entries (date, rate, optional project name, optional hours, optional notes)
- Payment records (date, amount, optional note)
- Your day rate and reminder preferences
- Optional business profile fields (business name, tax ID, address) used for PDF receipt generation
Collected automatically:
- Anonymous app usage events (e.g. "app opened", "day logged") used to measure retention and improve the app. These events never include your client names, payment notes, or work-log content.
- Crash reports (error message and stack trace) used to diagnose bugs. These never include your work data or personal identifiers.
We do not collect: location, contacts, photos, calendar, microphone, IDFA, advertising identifiers, or any device identifiers used for tracking across apps.
How we use your data
- To run the app on your device.
- To save your data so it appears on your other devices when you sign in.
- To send the optional daily reminder you opted into.
- To identify and fix crashes.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We do not run ads.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Firestore (operated by Google LLC), in the United States. Google's data center security and encryption-at-rest apply.
Who can see your data
Only you. Firestore Security Rules enforce that only the signed-in user can read or write their own data. No employee, contractor, or other yom user can access your information without your explicit consent.
Your rights
You can at any time:
- Export your full data as JSON or CSV from Settings → Backup & export.
- Delete your account and all data from Settings → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: your Firebase Auth user, all Firestore documents under your account, and any locally cached settings are removed.
- Withdraw consent by deleting your account.
Under the EU GDPR and the Israeli Privacy Protection Law (תקנות הגנת הפרטיות), you also have the right to access, correct, or restrict processing of your personal data. Email gsan.sdran@gmail.com to exercise any of these rights.
Children
yom is intended for working adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If we discover such data we will delete it.
